A strengthened regulatory framework to support the financing of young innovative companies

The publication of the decree of October 20, 2026, marks a new milestone in supporting the financing of young innovative companies (JEI), with several developments that favor the growth of investment in innovation.
This new framework includes, among other things, the extension of the tax reduction scheme, an increase in the investment period for FCPIs (innovation-focused mutual funds) from 30 to 48 months, and a rise in the aid ceiling for eligible companies to €16.5 million. It also expands the scope of the scheme to include “young innovative impact-driven companies” (jeunes entreprises innovantes à impact – JEII).
These provisions apply to payments made on or after October 22, 2026; subscriptions made prior to this date remain subject to the previous rules.
These developments reinforce Audacia’s strategy of financing breakthrough technologies.
Through its FCPI Audacia Capital Innovation IR fund, Audacia pursues its ambition of making investment in innovation accessible to private individuals and contributing to the emergence of future European technology champions.
The fund commits to investing 90% of the capital raised into eligible innovative young companies, allowing subscribers—subject to compliance with legal and regulatory requirements—to benefit from an income tax reduction of up to 27% of the amount subscribed, for subscriptions made before December 31, 2026.
Investing in an FCPI (innovation-focused mutual fund) entails risks, including the potential loss of capital, and requires a long-term investment horizon. The tax benefit depends on the subscriber’s individual circumstances and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, particularly those concerning the quota for eligible investments. Before making any investment decision, you should consult the fund’s regulatory documentation.
