A graduate of EM Lyon Business School, Constance d’Avout (38 years old) began her career at Moelis & Company in London, where she worked for two years as a mergers and acquisitions and restructuring analyst, contributing to valuation analyses (LBO, DCF, comparables) and the execution of complex mandates.
She then joined EQT Partners in London for almost four years, where she invested in credit funds (Credit Opportunities and Mid-Market Credit), notably acting as a senior lender in the restructuring of Tiama, then as a shareholder of the company until its successful sale to Caravelle.
Constance d’Avout continued her career at Silverfleet Capital in Paris, a mid-market private equity fund (€870 million under management), where she evaluated and monitored majority investments in French companies valued between €75 and €300 million.
Since 2020, she held the positions of Principal, then Director, and finally Senior Director at Wendel, where she led equity investments ranging from €300 million to €600 million, primarily in the industrial, education, business services, and sustainability sectors, for which she had direct sector responsibility. In charge of a six-person investment team, she notably led the Globeducate transaction (€600 million), Constantia Flexibles (exit management, EBITDA of approximately €300 million, exit EV exceeding €2 billion), as well as the restructuring of Tsebo.
Throughout her career, Constance d’Avout has served on the boards of several leading holding companies, including Tsebo, Constantia Flexibles, and Globeducate, as well as the Wendel Cares endowment fund. This experience in governing large-scale international industrial and service companies is a major asset in supporting the growth of Straton’s portfolio companies.
