Quobly

Quobly is a French deep-tech start-up developing a fault-tolerant quantum computer using silicon-based qubits, thanks to technology compatible with standard FD-SOI industrial processes, enabling realistic scaling up to millions of qubits. The result of fifteen years of collaborative research between CEA-Leti and CNRS, it raised €19.5 million in 2023, setting a European record for a seed funding round in quantum hardware, and recently obtained €21 million in funding to support its Q100T chip project with 100 physical qubits, with assembly planned on 300 mm wafers and initial production targeted for 2027 in partnership with STMicroelectronics. In parallel with its hardware advances, the company has just launched a “perfect,” error-free quantum emulator capable of executing between 27 and 31 logical qubits on conventional infrastructure to prepare users today for its future QPUs.
