Over 20 years’ experience in the investment banking and energy sectors. More than 25 M&A and venture capital deals closed.
A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in nuclear engineering, he also holds a Master’s degree in industrial economics from Dauphine University (Paris, France), with a specialization in competitive energy markets and CO2 issues.
He began his career working for the OECD in the energy sector, first at the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), then at the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he analyzed electricity and gas markets, regulatory frameworks and the electricity supply industry.
He then moved to the investment bank by joining Bryan, Garnier & Co, where he led the renewable energy desk within equity research as part of brokerage activities. He also worked in Berlin as executive director of an international developer of wind and solar photovoltaic projects (win: pro).
Back in Paris, he joins the French financial boutique Societex Corporate Finance and becomes head of the IMAP Energy and Cleantech sector group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions transactions in the SME market and capital raising, from the initial stages to the advanced phases.
He then joined Linkers Mergers & Acquisitions as director of mergers and acquisitions, before becoming partner in charge of the energy and cleantech sector, where he carried out some 15 transactions, including buy and sell operations, joint ventures, LBOs and financial engineering operations.
In mid-2022, he joined Audacia and co-founded the pan-European venture capital fund Exergon with Charles Beigbeder. This investment vehicle targets deeptech innovations to support and accelerate the energy transition.
A native Italian speaker, he is fluent in English, French, Spanish and German.
