Paris, January 29, 2026Calderion, a deeptech fund dedicated to next-generation fuels and value chains, announces its participation in a €6 million fundraising round carried out by Geolinks Services, alongside French Tech Seed managed by Bpifrance as part of France 2030, BRGM Invest and InnoEnergy.

This operation marks a structuring step for Calderion, whose investment thesis aims to bring about key technologies enabling the decarbonization of the economy and European energy sovereignty.

A strategic technology at the heart of the Calderion thesis

Based on research by the CNRS, the technology developed by Geolinks Services relies on passive seismics and allows for dynamic modeling of the subsoil in near real time.

Its flagship solution, FlowTerra™, aims to create a digital twin of the subsoil, capable of reconstructing fluid movements at depth. This capability represents a major technological breakthrough for several strategic sectors:

  • natural hydrogen, by improving the identification of migration pathways and areas with exploitable potential;
  • geological sequestration of CO₂ (CCS), by strengthening the safety and integrity of storage facilities;
  • Mines and critical resources, via continuous and predictive monitoring of underground systems.

Natural hydrogen, a key vertical for Calderion

In its vertical dedicated to natural hydrogen, Calderion focuses on answering a central question: can we competitively exploit the hydrogen naturally present in the subsoil?

Geolinks’ technology provides a decisive answer to this challenge, offering an unprecedented ability to understand the deep dynamics of the subsoil.

“The technology developed by Geolinks makes it possible to reconstruct the migration pathways of hydrogen deep underground. This is an essential prerequisite for assessing the industrial potential of this new decarbonized energy source”,
Vincent Brillault, Founding Partner of Calderion.

A fundraising effort to support scaling up

Thanks to this Seed round, Geolinks Services will be able to:

  • launch the commercialization of FlowTerra™ in the mining, CO₂ storage and geological hydrogen markets as early as 2026;
  • strengthen its teams, particularly in artificial intelligence, modelling and geosciences;
  • to structure its industrial organization in order to support the scaling up.

For Calderion, this investment is fully in line with its mission: to support deeptech companies with strong scientific content in their transition towards reference industrial solutions, serving sustainable, competitive and sovereign energy sectors.

About Calderion

Calderion is a deep tech fund dedicated to technologies and new value chains for next-generation fuels: low-carbon hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and synthetic fuels.
The fund supports high-tech companies in their scaling up, with the ambition of building sovereign, decarbonized, and competitive supply chains.

Calderion was initiated by Audacia, an independent private equity firm that has been supporting entrepreneurs committed to the transformation of strategic sectors in France and internationally for almost twenty years.
