A new fund to support future technologies

Audacia announces the launch of the FCPI Audacia Capital Innovation IR, its first DeepTech tax fund for retail investors. This investment vehicle aims to finance European Young Innovative Enterprises (JEI), while allowing subscribers to benefit from an attractive tax arrangement (IR-SMEs/JEI).

A fund to respond to technological and industrial challenges

Faced with the challenges of technological, energy and industrial sovereignty, Audacia wishes to allow individuals to contribute directly to the financing of disruptive innovations.

As explained by Cédric James, Deputy CEO of Audacia:

“With this new FCPI, we allow individuals to participate directly in this dynamic by financing young European companies that provide concrete solutions. It is a simple way to give meaning to one’s savings, by supporting innovation while benefiting from an attractive tax framework.

Objectives of the founds

The FCPI Audacia Capital Innovation IR aims at a target size of €15 million and aims to invest in 15 young companies with high potential, in the following sectors:

  • Industry & disruptive technologies: nuclear, quantum, new production processes
  • Artificial intelligence & digitalization
  • Energy transition & decarbonation
  • Health & biotechnologies
  • Hydrogen & new generation fuels

Targeted companies must have passed the first critical steps (proof of concept, technical feasibility), in order to ensure better visibility on their industrial potential.

Useful and meaningful savings

Accessible from 5,000 €, the fund allows individuals:

  • to support the real economy,
  • to support European innovative companies,
  • and to benefit from a tax advantage of up to 27% (according to the legal conditions in force).
